Features of a FluxBridge PIM

1. Organize data in different groups

  • To effectively manage various data points for products, organize them into groups as example:
    • Basic Information Group: Includes essential details such as brand, description, and price.
    • Rich Information Group: Contains additional details like color, gallery options, and product type.
    • Logistic Info Group: Covers logistical aspects such as stock, date, and availability.
  • When viewing a product, you’ll see an attribute section divided into these three groups: Basic Info, Rich Information, and Logistic Info. This structure helps keep product data organized and easily accessible.

2. Add filters

  • You can add multiple filters to streamline product management. One filter allows you to view products with 100% completed basic information, as shown in the image. Another filter helps identify products with incomplete information, so you can easily track what needs to be updated and which product details still need to be completed.

3. Smart list

  • You can save the filters in a Smart List. This allows you to track your to-do list by showing products with incomplete information that you need to update, as well as products with completed information. This way, you can efficiently manage and prioritize tasks related to product data.

4. Track progress using completeness attributes

  • To manage product information effectively, follow these steps:
    • Go to Settings and create an attribute named “Completeness.”
    • Merge this “Completeness” attribute with the product groups you’ve created.
    • Create additional attributes for other groups in the same way, such as “Basic Information.”
    • Repeat this process for two more attributes relevant to your other groups.
    • Edit the group settings under Settings, selecting the “Completeness” attribute for the specific group.
  • This setup will help you track which product details are missing and the percentage of information that still needs to be completed. Additionally, it will add filters to simplify the management of product information

5. Creating different product families

  • Creating product families helps categorize items in the fashion industry, such as dresses, shirts, and trousers, making it easier to identify whether they are for boys, girls, men, or women. For example, an accessories family might include watches and shoes. This system streamlines organizing and understanding different types of wearables.

Strategic solutions

  • High performance database architecture
    • Indexing: Removing duplicate existing values while searching it also speeds up the performance and the speed.
    • Query optimization: query optimization techniques to improve the speed of data retrieval
  • Advance data search and filtering
    • Use of elastic search will help in improving the filtering capabilities when we are dealing with large amounts of product information.
  • User friendly UI/UX
    • Allowing customers to manage their workspace and also providing drag and drop features for product catalog which can be easy for non-tech users.
  • CDN integration for digital assets
    • Store and distribute images, videos, and other media assets via a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to ensure fast loading times globally
